The simple and devoted Guo plans to work in a factory in Bangkok, save up money and eventually return home. On the journey, she meets fellow migrant worker Guo (Kai Ko), who takes an immediate liking to her. Lianqing (Wu Ke Xi) crosses illegally into Thailand to seek work and a better life.
